What’s the basic difference between a fuse and a circuit breaker?
Fuses are generally metal strips which melt and disconnect the supply of power in case of current higher the particular current flowing through the circuit.
Fuse destroys his life to save the person or the equipment, Once fused, it needs to be replaced.
While circuit breakers can be considered as a little more intelligent devices.
They have a switch mechanism that opens the circuit in case an unsafe surge of current passes (higher than a particular limit) through the circuit.
Once the fault is removed, the circuit breaker can simply be reset thereby reconnecting the circuit.
